Razer... Copperhead / Deathadder over the MX518
A month of using my MX518, it's painful for my hand, I now realize I need an ambidextrous mouse, even though I'm right handed and a right handed mouse hurts.
Anyway, How does the Deathadder or Copperhead shape up?
My hand is...
8cm across.
15 1/2cm from top finger tip to the tip of my wrist.
1/2cm fingers.
Hopefully my right hand can work well with this, I've grown with ambidextrous mice my whole life, just the dimensions from the razer site seem to be as high as my mouse, so just wondering how it'll work out and all.
I can't test any mice around my area.... Even if I did, I'd probably only find that 's smith might have something, and that'd be M$ or Logitech mice, I've checked them all online anyway, don't see that there that great, except the LX8 but the side grips (left + right) and big enough, out enough.

Do you lay your palm (wrist area) on top of the mice or you lay it on the table surface?

The Copperhead is more of a Claw grip mouse. So if you like to rest your fingers on the buttons, the DeathAdder is for you.
If you like lots of flashy lights, Copperhead FTW!MacBook Pro| 2.66GHz | 6GB | 128GB | 15.4in LCD | Snow Leopard 10.6

How about neither? Have you tried a Logitech G9? Custom grips can make a huge difference in mice ergonomics. Since there is no mouse that you can custom mold to your hand (yet), the G9 offers the next best thing.

Re: Razer... Copperhead / Deathadder over the MX518
G9 is basically the best mouse ever. Some don't like how it looks, but I like it. The build quality is a lot better than the death adder too. Just compare the difference in plastics between the two and the way the buttons click.
G9 is built like a tank .. death adder.. lol early 90's civic.
