Re: Notebook Coolers : A Buyers Guide, Reviews, Statistics and More!
Thanks THAANSA
Sorry for the deley in the table and possible graph. Currently duking it out with dell. We had a written and recorded phone agrement they would replace specific parts on my notebook. Unfourtunately I slipped in a store and the notebook smashed and they are charging me 550$ from just looking at exterier parts. Also issue with over charging and ripping off as they are charging me for parts taht were in mint condition when the notebook was sent in.
I will have a table up after exam time is up from my rented notebook. Also take a look at my Zalman review. Last page has confirmation I have access to a NC1000 now and will be doing a review and comparasion with my girlfriends notebook most liklyNotebookReview.com | Super Moderator

Re: Notebook Coolers : A Buyers Guide, Reviews, Statistics and More!
Free bump

Nice thread, informative and a nice read. I went with a NZXT cryo since I have had many coolers over the years ranging from $10-$60 options and have yet to be happy so I went all out and got that one. It will hopefully arrive mid week and I will possible write a review on the sucker. Like I said I have had many coolers and pads and have been very disappointing and I saw the newegg reviews as well as many other sites claiming nice temp drops. Granted its price is high as well as not justifiable for the average user, but I game and multitask alot and wanted to splurge for once. I have high hopes for my vostro 1700, although it doesn get very hot I would love to see a temp drop.
Whats wrong with your vostro? Which vostro do you have?

Re: Notebook Coolers : A Buyers Guide, Reviews, Statistics and More!
Hi X2P,
I came across this item "Thermaltake iXoft Notebook Cooler" and I thought it might be interesting for your thread ...
Now I read few reviews about it ... and I was not impressed ... since it lowers the Temperature by only 5 to 7 degrees ... but, it is "Fanless" and "Light" to carry around ...
Thanks,
G!

Re: Notebook Coolers : A Buyers Guide, Reviews, Statistics and More!
(First post yay)
So i've read through the thread and I must say i applaud your efforts guys. This should be sticked not bumped. However as is expected I am looking for a cooler... I have a HP dv6700T laptop and want something nice to cool it with (and hopefully not too expensive), I was hoping to spend hopefully not more than $40 (broke as a dog).... so what do you suggest. I notice you have not written on the antec coolers (why is that). I know somebody who has This antec cooler and seems pretty satisfied with it, however i'm unsure as to whether it would work for my laptop and whether it makes sense.
