It appears this cooler is quite a taboo. If you look all the reviews are "positive" but to one man who wrote a negative review xpad has harrased him like the media harasses Bush.

In the thread the first post is the review. Following it are letters to the creators for the X-Pad and From them aswell.

Due to this I will avoid the X-Pad for now. Please read throughly

I was stunned to see a company harass one bad reviewer and offering to give him the deluxe etc. Which has made me kind of suspicious if they may have bribed every other review some how seeing as every other review out there is VERY VERY positive about the cooler

Are you talking about the Xpad? I am currently boycotting them due to their treatment of one review giving it a negative review. The measure they have taken are ridiculous and quite suspicous.

Targus PA248. I highly doubt it contains harmful ammounts of lead.

As you can see this cooler lifts the laptop up 1/6 of an inch. It has wind streams to create 28CFM. It blows out all of the hot air in the back, sucking it out of the laptop. I would highly reccommend this cooler aswell. Its extremly light and quiet but throws out ALOT of hot air when under my DV9000us

It does not matter where the vents are on the bottom aslong as there are vents somewhere around the pad, even if part of the laptop is under the pad its still getting decent air suction, you can feel it around the sides of the laptop, blowing ciggerate smoke in the front cause the smoke to go flying out the vents in the back of the cooler

I will not support targus cooling products as a company who in the last few years released a product that required that strong of a warning shows a poor view upond safty of its customers. Even Mcdonalds doesnt get a warning that harsh. And seeing that that is the older chillmat that is the specific one that was labled with all the warning in California. Furthermore FAN AND VENT POSITIONING ALWAYS ALWAYS matter.
