I have a studio xps 1640 with ATI 4670.....am goin to buy a notebook cooler.....I heard the Zalman NC2000 is quite good...but unfortunately it isnt available in India but I can get it from US thru my cuz......The notepal infinite is available in India......

Is there a considerable difference between NC2000 and Infinite? Which one should I go for?

    Hi,

I have a Dell 1525 notebook and looking for a cooler, what can you suggest?

    1) Budget - $30-$40

    2) Is noise an issue for you?
Yes, something with fan speed control.

    3) Post a picture: link

    4) Do you have a color preference? black or silver

    5) Any brands you would like to avoid? Not yet ...

My first choice is a NotePal X2 http://www.coolermaster.com/product....roduct_id=6610 or maybe a NotePal Infinite.
I think that a NotePal AX cooler is not suitable for my laptop (because of the laptop fans)

    Thanks

    Dell Studio XPS 16 with i7-720QM (1.6GHz)

    1) Budget - $50 or so

    2) Is noise an issue for you?
Yes, I want something quiet. I would consider passive coolers that provide some cooling improvement, or a quiet active cooler (fans).

    3) Post a picture: just ordered it, so I do not have it yet.

    4) Do you have a color preference? No

    5) Any brands you would like to avoid? No
could you try and find a pic online or take one when you get the unit please

I would try out the X2, its a solid choice, the only thing is there is no fan control and it is on the noisy side.

    thanks X2P for the info

It's any chance like the notebook to slip from the stand?, I don't see any rubber on it (NotePal X2)
Zalman ZM-NS1000F is better than a NotePal X2?!
