That would definitely be overkill. I'm not going sky diving with the laptop. LOL.

I think getting a hard case might be overkill but a hard case (SeeThru) will be good for using it anywhere too.

my latitude e6400 fits well inside the 14.1 inch case, theres some extra space for the laptop to be "taller" but it doesnt shift around at all inside.

i think i'll go for the Zeroshock III, i read it's a really good stuff.
what size do u think will be good? there's a 15,4" (37 cm * 27 cm) and a 17" (40 cm * 29 cm).. based on the specs i'd say i should go for the 17", but i heared many cases when the SXPS 16 fit in a 15.4" case too, i'm afraid the 17" may be too big to fit in my bag, also it would be still better then buying the 15.4" and finding out my laptop's not fitting in there.

Has anyone taken these through airport security yet? I just bought one but I am wondering if I can leave my laptop in there for screening. Just thinking the side zipper pocket might be a problem.
    Thanks

I did. The security guards saw no need to take the laptop out of the Zeroshock.

    edit:
Sometimes they do want you to take it out. I guess it depends on the airport or the guard.

I'm also curious what size would be best for a Studio XPS 16.

meanwhile i asked yap on ebay and replied this:

    "Hi there,
Thanks for asking. you should go for the 17" case as the 15.4" is too small. I've many customers that purchase the 17" case for XPS 16."

i checked and he really sold some 17" cases for SXPS16 and all the customers were happy with it, so i think i'll go for it.
edit: just ordered it from ebay (yap)

Built, you have been writing that same thing for years.

You are Yap, or a paid salesman for him!

I encourage anyone to look at the posting history of Built, and see for themself.

One is hardly getting an objective review from him.
