with this spec , am i possible to follow with the directions listed on Orev's Clean Install Guide???

Yes. The first thing you should do is make a recovery disk [actually it's mandatory]. After that has completed, make sure to download his ABRbeta2.zip file to a usb flash drive. Unzip the file back into the flash drive with the title ABR. Then follow his steps step by step and you should be good to go. Good luck.
