Rivatuner has far more options than coolbits. Here is quite a good guide for Riva Tuner:

You can't really damage anything short term (high clocks alone can do damage but generally only over a significant period of time), merely playing about with a software OC tool the worst that will happen is that you have to restart your machine. It is hard to say exactly what is and isn't safe for any given GPU.

However to significantly reduce the risk of damage, only overclock when you are running games, you can create different Rivatuner profiles to load at different times.

Ideally you want to monitor the temperature of the GPU (I'm not sure if the 6150 supports software temperature monitoring).
