Re: HP Vista driver downloads
Nothing special -- some of those didn't have x64 compatibility before. That's the big difference, though they're all dated 12/06, so nothing that new. Given that HP has Vista systems in stores, and is one of the premier Microsoft launch partners, not having drivers for download in time for release is pathetic. I chatted with a tech earlier today and they said it would take HP a week to get the drivers updated. I said they should have started a week ago then, and he just got indignant, eventually appologized for my inconvenience, but that was about it.
Worse, since December, they had posted on their website that driver's would be posted in mid to late January. Today the new Vista pages said that drivers would be available to download today. And, as of now, they still aren't. Pretty sad support.
