Incidentally, I just finished buying the parts for my first laptop. Before I continue, I would like to qualify the information below by stating that I have never built a laptop and so you must check out other resources to be sure that my information is correct. Indeed, I am not absolutely sure that all the components will make a working computer. Case in point is the tripp lite surge suppressor, which has a three hole connector; the M6000N manual (online, page 28) states that the power brick and AC cable may have either a two or three hole plug configuration.
